Immis

Immis is my newest Black and Tan.  I found him through petfinder.com where various Humane Societies and rescue organizations post their adoptable animals.  My husband greatly humored me by accompanying me on my trek from Montana to Tennessee (2000 miles one way) in order to pick the dog up from a rescue down there.  The rescue confiscated Immis from an owner who chained him outside and stopped feeding him.  We've had Immis since October 6th, 2007, and have fallen greatly in love with how goofy he is. 

A hinted-at part of the adoption agreement was that I wouldn't hunt Immis.  This was, and still is, entirely fine with me.  He has shown that he is a great house pet but would probably be an awful hunter.  Not only is he not the brightest crayon in the box, but just carrying the rifle through the house terrifies him.
